What Juicer?

I recently roadtested the brand new Jay Kordich Power Grind Pro Juicer.

I put the Power Grind Pro through its paces on a 7 day juice fast I completed. Read my review of the Jay Kordich Power Grind Pro Juicer.

This is my current juicing kitchen set up. Breville Juicer and Blendtec Blender.

Breviille Juice Fountain Elite

The Breville Juice Fountain Elite – ok its 260 dollars but its worth every cent. If you are on a budget then there are lots of other juicers out there. I am sure they all do a great job. My advice though is to spend as much as you can on a juicer, it will pay off in the long run.

I have also used the Breville 900 watt juicer with great effect. I recently gave away a Breville Juicer. The winner, Will used to have a Jack Lalane and this is how he compared the two:

‘Hi, This is Will and I’ve been using the Breville for almost one week now, and given I had a Lalane juicer before, I can say that the Breville wins hands down. The Lalane worked well, but the juices I prepare have beets, kale, swiss chards, ginger, apples, celery and carrots, and the Breville offers 5 different speeds, so you’ll be able to adjust your juicer to the ingredients you’re juicing. I’ve noticed that the Lalane has a tendency to overheat, and when I used beets for example, I had to dice them – not the case with the Breville. And the Breville is *much* quieter than the Lalane. I still use my blender when I want to add frozen berries to my juice – I blend them with cocount water and mix with the juice I prepared with the Breville. It’s a lot of work I do every early morning to get my 2 bottles to take with me to the office, but the benefits of juicing and exercising are well worth it.’

Blendtec blender
